Having been a physiotherapist for 22 years and attended courses throughout my career to expand treatment options and improve outcomes, I am fascinated by the simplicity and effectiveness of this technique and increasingly consider it a first choice treatment option for many conditions.
This amazing technique was developed by the Australian Tom Bowen.
The therapist uses thumbs and fingers to perform a series of specific moves across tendons, muscles and fascia throughout the body interspersed with short breaks.
The breaks are to allow the body to process and react to the moves.
Treatment for a wide range of conditions including: Neck and Back Pain, Sciatica, Frozen Shoulder, Sports injuries, Joint problems, Headaches
